Why I built GECAS.AI

It started with wanting my own time back — now I help businesses get theirs.

Like many business owners, I spent hours on end on work that simply repeated itself, day after day.

So I started looking for a way to hand it off. I found that AI could take over a large part of the routine and give me back what is most valuable in business — time.

Is there a contract?

It's month-to-month with no long-term lock-in — cancel anytime. The goal is to stay because it's genuinely useful, not to trap you.

Can I change it or switch it off at any time?

Yes. Tell us what to change and we update it. You can pause or remove it whenever you like — it's month-to-month.

Which platforms does it work with?

Virtually any online store — Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce or a custom-built site. Not sure about yours? Just ask.

How soon does it go live?

Quickly — once we have your store details, it's usually built, tested and live within a few days.

Where does it appear on my store?

Which languages does it support?

There's no language barrier — your customer writes in their own language and the assistant answers in the same one, automatically. Nothing to set up on your side.

How do you keep it up to date?

We do it for you. When your products, shipping or policies change, tell us and we update it — that's included in the monthly fee.

What happens if the assistant doesn't know the answer?

It won't guess. It tells the customer it doesn't have that information, takes their name and email, and passes the question straight to you — so you can answer it properly.

Can I review it before it goes live?

Yes. You see it working on a private demo first and can ask for any changes. Nothing goes live on your store until you approve it.

Is my data safe?

Yes. The assistant only uses the information you provide, and customer data is handled with care. Specific requirements? Tell us and we'll meet them.

Does it have access to my orders or customer accounts?

By default, no. It answers from your product, shipping and policy information. If you need order-system access, that's a separate integration we can discuss.

How are customer chats handled?

Messages are used only to produce the assistant's reply. We don't sell any data, and we can adjust how it's stored to fit your store's requirements. Full details are in our privacy policy.

Can it pass a conversation to me?

Yes. When it can't help, it takes the customer's name, email and question and sends them straight to you.

Will it slow down my website?

No. It loads separately from your store's content, so your pages stay as fast as they are now.
